So i want to quit my very nice SS7 System. I used it manly as DOS System but i switched to a Socket 3 System.
So first at all, anything runs without Problems. I never had any Problems with the setup. Its clean and was perfect cooled.
First at all the Asus P5A Mainboard with the REV 1.04. Its a rare rev because you can run the K6 3+ with 600MHz Multi 6x100 (or even more)! Well this need good cooling.
For that i used a fancy Aquacomputer block (it was the first block aquacomputer produced) with an self build water cooling setup. The K6 3+ is a 450MHz CPU.
The 600MHz (6x100FSB) is jumpered and runs perfect with 2.2V.
The Mainboard has 512MB RAM installed. I will include the Aquacomputer block and a Fan solution. So its up to you. Personaly i used only the water block for cooling.
So i cant say if the 600MHz possible under Air. The ATX plate is also include. Bios is updated to latest version from Asus page.
So overall one of the best Super Socket 7 setups you can get.

Next the GPUs i run with the setup. The Matrox G400MAX with the M3D Power VR2 board. Well i dont need to say much about it. The Image quality of the Matrox is outstanding! The PowerVR board add support for the DOS Stuff i run with it. For example Tomb Raider 1 runs with this setup in 1024x768 @ solid 45-60FPS..
I add Noctua Fans with heatsinks to the board for better cooling. I also had never Problems with the boards.
For the G400MAX im asking: 180€ -> now 130€ + shipping
For the Matrox M3D : 225€ -> now 200€ + shipping
