Closed Atari 7800 Boxed with Composite AV Mod

Hi all, i have for sale this Atari 7800 which has been composite modded for better video/audio output.

It has Asteroids built in and is in its original box with 1 controller, original PSU & AV lead. The AV mod fitted was done by cutting the RF output so the RF port on the back is no longer enabled and will not work.

I have tested the output on 4 different TV's (3 LCD & 1 CRT) and it works fine on all.

The console itself is in really nice condition and still has the protective strip over the Atari logo but the box is quite heavily worn.

I have had this machine sat in its box for about a year and I honestly have no interest in these machines so have no idea as to their value so i am going to ask for £50 plus p&p. This price figure was taken by browsing sold items at ebay however that being said i am prepared to listen to an offer so feel free to try your luck via pm after declaring interest in the thread.

Hi interested in this, did you mod it yourself? Why the 3 phonos, most mods I see have 2 phono,s has it got some stereo output wiring?

Hi, I did mod it myself. The only reason for the 3 phonos was because it was a composite to scart adapter that I pulled apart to reuse and the phonos were blocked together. I have wired the audio to both the red and white plugs for dual mono audio.
