Sold Atari 800 and INCOGNITO x 2

Hi

financial crunch requires me to sell on a few more bits and bobs inc the treasure, this atari 800.

Pal Atari 800, 48k, psu, all working very nicely, with expansions £230 paypal gift UK only plus postage signed for service only likely £15 as it's very heavy (or pickup from High Wycombe or Potters Bar.)

(the 800 itself has had an [edit: internal, invisible from outside) repair to the lid, and the top half is marked in some way I think someone (not me!) tried to clean it, its like bloom from poor retrobrite. I tried to clean it up but no effect...it doesn't worry me and its not that noticeable IMHO but FYI )


This includes 2 x new incognito boards that are presently in pre-order i.e. you cant get them yet.

Candle has given me his blessing to sell mine on. The board inside is a prototype board (fully working btw there were no real fixes, save a software update you may want to do at some point), plus there's 1 spare final board that you can sell on as you need to recoup... *I just dont have time to do that*.

it has a very special board inside, an FPGA based board by candle, that gives it full XL compatibility,1mb expansion, fat loader and a 4gb CF card. presently set up I think for 7 separate partitions.

This is the board I'd been waiting 4 years for! ...and now its got to go.

• 4 slots for OS separate for Colleen and XL/XE mode
• 64k of FLASH for future GUI
• 2 slots for BASIC/CARTRIDGE
• build in, configurable PBI CF card storage (works as PBI in XL/XE mode, and through SDX driver in Colleen mode)
• build in FAT32 loader (SIDE)
• SDX
• onboard RTC
• 1MB Axlon compatible memory expansion for Colleen mode
• 64k/320k/576/1088k total memory available in XL/XE mode
• up to 52k of memory in Colleen mode (configurable)

so now you can run all the 800 and XL games etc as if you had an HD internally, all the above, plus run all the big 320k XL demos inc Numen and of course the real reason for it, flip & flop, bruce lee and dropzone

no games included of course but I can advise.

also a fpga programmer cable for the above, unused, £10.

all original boards and ram etc included so you can switch it back to the standard 48k.

jk40001 please reply here that i'll send the console to the uk registered address you provided. It'll be sent via a signed-on delivery service.

goods sold "as is", and it'll be sent only once funds have cleared, so you'll need to be patient. I'll of course send you proof of posting with the tracking details.

Once it's signed at that address, that's you and your couriers responsibility, not mine.

Hi Iain,

I received the sms yesterday and was informed by the company that the parcel was collected and will be forwarded to my home address asap. I will pm you once received. I never owned A800 before so any help with setting up the system will be very much appretiated.

To drop a line to Candle would be good idea, so I am eligible for future support if needed, thank you.
