I have for sale here a fantastic Zalman CNPS9700-NT CPU Cooler.

It is a large, high-performance cooler with motherboard-controlled PWM fan. Heatpipe design with copper and aluminium construction - can dissipate a lot of heat!

Has won awards and scores favourably among reviews. See the product page here for full details.

This is a picture I took of when it was installed on my Socket 775 board:

It's an "nVidia edition" - has an nVidia sticker and its fan glows green!

Comes with the screws, back plate, top plate and and clip to support Intel Socket 775.
It originally came with a clip to attach it to many AMD sockets, but I've not got it with me. I have its original box at my Mam's house and I bet the clip's in there, but it's in the loft and I'd have to beg her to go rummaging for it! :(

A good Zalman stockist like QuietPC should be able to supply the clip to suit it.

With the missing clip, the cooler supports:
  • AMD Socket AM3
  • AMD Socket AM2+
  • AMD Socket AM2
  • AMD Socket 940
  • AMD Socket 939
  • AMD Socket 754

With the purchase of separately-available Zalman mounting kit ZM-CS5A or ZM-CS5B:
  • Intel Socket 1155
  • Intel Socket 1156

With the purchase of separately-available Zalman mounting kit ZM-CS4A :
  • Intel Socket 1366
  • Intel Socket 1156

These adaptors are widely available and quite cheap, just hit Google! :)

Perfect condition, no bent fins. Clean and ready to go for the next owner!

£25 + £3 PnP within UK.
Payment via PayPal - gift not necessary, but very much appreciated :)

Postage to Europe I'd estimate around £8; it's quite heavy and fragile - if it turns out to be less I will refund the difference. :)

Other destinations, please ask.

Cheers!

Declare interest for friend of mine. I will ask him after work.

I have to pass on it, he decided to use water cooling. Good luck with sale.

No problems mate, it's actually the reason for sale over here :)
Thanks for he interest regardless.

Slight issue:

Looks like I'm actually missing the AMD socket clip :(
I think I've left it behind at my parents' house. It'll be in the box the cooler came in originally, but I don't have access to it right now.

To clarify:
The cooler will come with everything required to mount it onto a Socket 775 processor.

Other CPUs will require the Zalman accessories. I'll edit the original post :)

If you built a mil-spec Doomy-approved supporting structure around the Blizzard, it could potentially be bolted onto it.

Otherwise the weight of the cooler would most likely snap the Blizzard clean in half :)

I was going to comment on this piece but I resisted temptation. :) What a monster :) Good luck with the sale mate, sure if somebody wants a serious normal desktop overclock attemp this is bargain.

Thankyou jvdbossc :)

I used to run my Core2 Q6800 on this cooler with a light overclock of about 3.8GHz very reliably!

Good luck with your sales too, I have a very similar MorphOS Mac Mini and I know whoever buys it will get much enjoyment from it .
