Greetings from the last century!

When I last time used real Amiga, it was 1991. Nirvana was big. :)

I never had money to get A1200 and accelerators where even more expensive to have. Do you remember those prices?

I am thinking of building A1200, possibly into the PC-tower, with accelerator.

This will be my trip back in time, to get what I never got.

Hi

Yeah it's not so much "smells like teen spirit" now but more "smells like burning plastic"

Hope you enjoy it here it's a very good crowd and I'm sure everyone will make you feel very welcome.

BB:thumbsup:

Hi and welcome:) we are all stuck in the past here :D

Stuck? Stuck!? STUCK!?!!??

*fizzes and pops*

Aww, okay then. I suppose I am a bit 'stuck' on the Amiga.

I prefer to think of the Amiga as forever contemporary though

Welcome!

Sounds like a great project :)
The best part of (re)visiting the Amiga is that there are so
many new things to learn, so many new sights to see.

Thank you for a warm welcome!

A lots of stuff ordered, some already arrived.

- Nice white A1200 (with a new keyboard).
- An extra motherboard for the tower project.
- Blizzard's 1230-IV 030@50Mhz (FPU 68882) and 128Mb ram (60ns)

I also got some new stuff from Amigakit, like 300W PSU, capacitor pack and new disc drive to be sure.

OS (3.1) and games will run from 4Gb Compact Flash.

All looks promising.

Which gives a better picture: VGA or Scart (both driven from the same Amiga RGB)?

Welcome!

Yep, 1991 was a great year with the Amiga at it's peak! Luckily we can still enjoy the classic stuff, and get to try out stuff we couldn't afford back then! :)

It took more than twenty years, but now I have Amiga again!

It was very nice to see Workbench running on 42" FullHD. :p

Some updates done:

- Roms 3.1
- Indivision AGA Mk2 CR A1200
- Blizzard PPC 68060@50MHz/PowerPC 603e@240MHz and 128Mb ram (60ns) / will be 256Mb when towered.
- OS 3.1 for games and demos from 8Gb Compact Flash (sfs) or
- OS 3.9 for games and demos from 8Gb Compact Flash (sfs)

Next maybe OS 4.1 ... ?
