For sale is a Acorn Master 128with,
Installed
Retro Clinic Data Centre
Dual OS 3.20/3.50
ReCo6502Mini

Not installed
BEEBSID

4 books
Welcome Guide includes the tape and disk
Part 1 and 2 of the Reference manuals
Retro Clinic Data Centre manual includes the CD, this manual as water damage to some of its pages

With the Data Centre you can transfer ssd or dsd files from a PC to the Master using a USB memory stick, save programs to the CF card.

ReCo6502Mini is a full featured remake of the Acorn 65C102 Co-Processor for the Acorn BBC Master. In addition to offering backwards compatibility, it has the ability to run at 2, 4, 8 and16 MHz.

Looking at the picture of the internals of the Master you will see to the right of the Data Centre 4 mounting posts. I was going to install the BEEBSID board there. BEEBSID is an interface for the Commodore 64 sid sound chip. I built this interface and it tested fine at first but before being installed in the master the sid chip stopped working.

For this little lot I would like just £50, I recommend it be collected in person but postage can be arranged at the buyers risk.

Sold without any warranty, no returns or refund excepted

Collected today from a real gentleman, he showed me how the data centre and the coprocessor works. What a lovely machine.

thanks!

:)

The snag is I'm a BBC B man, I've no idea how to use a Master, or a data centre! I've got some reading to do.

Awesome machine! Are the 6502 Copros still available somewhere?

I have posted feedback for trixster. Thousand apologies not doing this sooner.

Awesome machine indeed but not the best choice for gaming, so many of the beebs best games don't run properly if at all.

Your BBC B will start collecting Dust trust me lol

:)

Perhaps! But this Beeb holds a special place as it's been with me for 34 years!

Alternatively you can buy a "matchbox" coprocessor or use a raspberry Pi as a second processor.

*slightly off topic*
That can be (relatively) easily fixed for the majority by running it with OS1.2 (I posted a version bodged to work with the M128 hardware on StarDot http://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4316). Retroclinic uses this version in his MultiOS (lets you swap 4 different configs), *other multiOS options are available.
