Howdy lads,
Have a rather complete BBC Micro set to offer.
It comes with an external 5.25" drive, both the normal and extended user manual, a DFS manual, the welcome package (booklet and tape) and some games on tape. Offloaded the tape player that went with it though, so the tape stuff is untested.
I spotted 2 switches at the back, which indicated some kind of modding had taken place. Opened up the beeb and found a ram rom board, which seems to be one made by Watford Electronics. Although the battery on the board is in dire need of replacement, it is working ok. The two mentioned switches connect to a RD and WR on the Ram/Rom board, haven't tested them, afraid i'll do more harm than good.
On the board two roms, the DFS ROM and Disc Doctor 1.09.
I've booted up the machine, both roms seen, and loaded a disk into the floppy. All working ok.
RF output seems to be suffering from quite some interference (phones, the disk drive).
The presence of the polys makes solid packaging easier, and i will insert a faulty disk in the diskdrive for transport.
Now for some pictures...
