OK, so I am first to admit that I am loss to make out what this is. But from a BBC of this era I would imagine that it was an expensive piece of kit. I am located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Item can be posted for £6

Also look at my separate listing for Torch Computer software manuals (not disks). Do these relate to the same item? If both items interest you, then let me know.

Q. Do you know more about these items? Anything you might be able to add would be appreciated.

Hi,

this look suspiciously like a Z80a Communicator module, which was manufactured by Torch Computers Ltd.

It incorporates a Z80 CPU running @ 4MHz and utilises the TUBE interface to allow the BBC Micro to use this (instead of its inbuilt 6502) to run software that would be incompatible normally, such as a CP/M based operating system... It also has 64k of extra RAM onboard.

Unfortunately, forum rules do not allow discussions of price - you will need to search here and on other sites to find its 'worth'. But forum rules also dictate that you MUST supply a price (or a swap) when posting a FOR SALE thread.

Please specify a price so that members here can declare interest...

:nono: Naughty Corfiot.

Yes, please put a price down so I can declare interest as well lol

Is there a top to the case?
