Hi

is possible access to BBS by Internet ? i look some examples but i don´t know how works the bridge between Internet and BBS. I am really interested in resurrect my old Amiga bbs.

Yes, you can.

In your BBS software you must replace serial.device and use telser.device / telnet.device

It works. I'm using it with Ncomm and Term.

I use Trinity BBS , the bbs software must be compatible with this replacement of serial.device or is transparent ? is the only thing to do for "view" the bbs from Internte ?

My problem calling telnet bbs's is the ansi.
Using term, it seems I'm 1 line short for full screen ansi menus to work correctly. Phracyde bbs is an example, the login screen draws and the
it postions the cursor on the wrong line.

Also, the telser.device seems very slow compared to using a serial server.
I've got a home built rs232 to wiport adapter, that I was using at 38400
and it's a lot faster than connecting to the same board with telser.

I don't have speed problems with telser.device

Take a look to this bbs:
telnet://bbs.amiexpress.com.uk

It's using telnetd.device.
