Hello,

I have a working blizzard 1230-IV (with 32mo EDO ram but no FPU) available for a swap.
I'm interested in an ACA1230/56
(only interested in the 56mhz one,I'm not looking for other ACA cards)
I can add money if necessary

Thanks

Can I ask why you want to swap? I'm just curious. I have a 1230IV and am wondering what's different/better/worse than the ACA1230/56. I don't have the ACA to swap, just want to know why you're swapping. Thanks :)

ACA 1230/56 is about 20% faster, 12mips vs 10mips (approx)

This comes at a price though, can cause some instability in certain setups. Good PSU and recap/timing fixes are a good idea for ACA1230 users.

I just bought a 1230/56 to replace my Blizzard too.

Kipper2k is selling some bits of at EAB, there might be a 1230/56 still available (I bought one of his) he had at least 2 of them (look in EAB market place)

@esc
The ACA1230/56 is a bit faster but the Blizzard is compatible with all mainboard revisions.
@fitzsteve
