Hi,
I would like to sell a B1240. The card comes with a full 40 MHz 040 and 32 MB RAM (very slim module). I'll ship this item worldwide, please ask for the exact shipping costs before buying. I offer uninsured shipping, but only with paypal gift option or bank transfer. I recommend insured shipping.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the card has a modification. It is possible to switch the battery :)
EDIT #2: Item is offered somewhere else, too.
Price: 350€ or nearest offer

Shipping within the EU: 17,00€ tracked & insured with DHL
8,90€ Standard

Terms of sale:

Payment is by PayPal or Bank Transfer (IBAN/BIC). Buyer pays any associated fees.
Worldwide shipping is possible, but at the buyers risk. I'am not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen goods. If insurance is taken I will handle the claim in the event of loss/damage and will pass on any received compensation.

Is it possible to use the card without the fan ?

Possible but you'd cook it pretty quick! (040's run HOT!)

If you get it upgraded to 060 you would be able to run without a Fan as they run cooler than 040's, get the latest mask 060 and you'd be ok at 66mhz without active cooling.

Well, you could use the card without a cooler, but the XC68040 is getting hot. If you looking for a setup in a desktop A1200 you could place something under the Amiga so that the trapdoor can be left open. Another option is to buy a smaller cooler, mount it and draw the power from the card itself.

One more option is to upgrade it to a full B1260. I think stachu100 can do this pretty well. After the upgrade is done, it is no problem to run the card in a desktop.

After negotiations with darthmaul, we agreed on the following deal:

300€ for the card with 64MB RAM
6,90€ for tracked shipping with DHL

Payment information have been sent.

Just transferred the money (via bank transfer). Can't wait to send the card onwards to another (hopefully very rewarding) journey to some country pretty close to Germany :D

Payment received, will ship the parcel by tomorrow.

Update: Parcel is on its way, tracking number provided.

Packet arrived today. Everything was extremely well packed :) Tested the card for a bit more than an hour and everything seems to work 100% perfect  Will leave feedback in a minute.
