Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction for an adaptor to convert the 25-way header on the Blizzard SCSI IV kit to a standard 50-way SCSI/SCSI-2 one for internal devices?

Have you tried these chaps?

Tbh, you'd be better off getting a dedicated internal one or making one yourself.

Talk to Jon Hare. I sent him an Internal PCB affair some time ago. ;)

They don't appear to have anything along those lines.

I could swear I've seen a picture of such an adaptor on here recently, but I can't seem to find the relevant post.

I've only seen one on AmiBay. It was the one I sold to Jon Hare & I don't have the time to search I'm afraid. Drop him a PM. ;)

IIRC, the convertor I saw looked like a couple headers connected together at right angles; where the bottom one was a 25-way IDC header and the top one a 50-way IDC socket. Something along the lines of this quick drawing:

Found that one - it's not the one I've seen before (but looks very well made!).

If it's the one I can see, I think that's the normal Blizzard one? 25-way IDC to 25-way D-shell?

Think I've figured out a solution:

1. Normal Blizzard 25-way IDC to 25-way D-Sub (Amigakit has these in stock)

2. DB25 male to DB25 male gender convertor.

3. DB25 external to 50-way IDC bracket.

4. Normal 50-way internal IDC ribbon cable.

That should give me an internal Fast-SCSI 2 solution that I can hang my CD, HD (and possibly also CF+SCSI bridge) off.
