I've got this crazy idea.. It's not cheap, but it might be practical.
Say you've got a Blizzard 1230 MK IV, 1240 or 1260 in your desktop A1200. Maybe you want to make that ultimate desktop 68k-based A1200. So something should be done about the slow hard drive. There's the Blizzard SCSI Kit IV, but it only comes with a connector for external devices. Which makes sense, because SCSI devices are usually huge.
There's also this CF to SCSI converter in a 2.5" form factor. While pricey, it would let you use a modern CF card that easily can max out the SCSI Kit inside a desktop A1200. In the normal hard drive mounting.
So all this would need would be a power cable from the floppy with an extra connector, and of course a custom 26 pin SCSI Kit to 40 pin 2.5" SCSI cable.
Am I crazy or would this actually work?
