Closed Blu-Ray drive for PS3

be careful! the bluray drives are matched to the motherboards, so you will need to swap the circuit board from your old drive onto your new drive. be sure to get the same model as the one you already have

Depends on the ps3 model. If its an old (fat) version, he should think about a new ps3 unit.

Dunno, I replaced my 60gb phat ps3 when it ylod on me with a slim 320gb ps3.

Nothing but dissapointment. no memory stick/SD card slots, only 2 usb ports and no PS2 games made for a dissapointing replacement.

The old fat ones are worth repairing...going up in value (so im told) as it's a PS1, PS2 and PS3 all in 1 unit!

It is easy enough to replace the laser/laser deck in phats...hour job start to finish taking your time
