Just thought I'd do the obligatory intro. I come from an old school Amiga/Atari 8 bit house, the bro having resurrected his 800xl in the past year, that's another story ha
I'm a computer engineer by trade and repair the things, but nothing's better than getting your teeth into an old bit of kit and getting it going again.
Well the bruv has just given me clapped out Amiga 2000 for a birthday present and its my current resurrection project, I will post you some pics in the coming days, week on its progress, from a rust bucket to hopefully a fully restored with pro re painted case and some good stuff to ram in its zorro slots from you guys, so if you have any A2000 stuff, let me know
So far its ALIVE !! after a good clean, cleaned mb and old leaky battery removed and new caps and re seated IC's
