For sale is my ROM 1.3 A500. It is fitted with a unnamed RAM expansion with RTC in the trapdoor slot, the RAM board has all socketed chips and a button cell battery, it also has a 3 pin jumper on the rear edge that is easily changeable with the trapdoor removed, I suspect that it disables the RAM board although I have never tried it. It would also be very easy to fit a switch to it.
There is no side expansion slot cover and no PSU. It has a green power LED and yellow drive LED. I don't know what revision it is as I have never had it apart, it has been stored for the last 18 month.
The floppy drive is quiet and working although it popped up an error with a couple of floppy's I have. I used the same disks as I used on the A500 I sold last week and funnily enough the errors popped up more or less in the same place as then so I suspect the disks rather than the drive, I don't have many floppy's written at the moment to test and the drive in my 1200 is playing up and suspect. Another reason I suspect the disks is that Superfrog, Treasure Trap and Wizzy's Quest all loaded and ran fine, it was the Workbench 1.3 disks throwing out the occasional errors.
I will include a mouse and a boxed mini-quickshot micro-switched joystick. The mouse is also micro-switched but the left button is a bit dodgy, a bit of card under the plastic should sort that out.
