Sold Boxed Mega CD II & Mega Drive II

Hi all, i have for sale my boxed Mega CD II & Mega Drive II mainly because i don't use them, they sit in the cupboard.

Mega CD comes complete in box with extension, metal fixing plates, mixing cables, PSU (not official but works fine), manual, warranty/registration card and Road Avenger original PAL game.

This is a PAL MegaCD however the Bios is socketed and has been replaced with a multi bios EPROM.

The Acess LED has been changed for a blue one.

Its in clean working condition, the box has wear around the edges but is acceptable.

Also included is my boxed switchless modded Mega Drive II. Comes with official PSU (rattles a little), home-made RGB scart cable, 2 controllers (1 official 1 3rd party), registration card, Sonic poster & manual.

Console is switchless modded and has the additional wires going to the expansion slot for the Mega CD which will switch bios according to mega drive region.

Again box is worn but acceptable.

I am looking for £55 plus p&p for this complete setup.

Bios chip has now been replaced with a multi-bios EPROM. The mega cd will now boot the correct bios to correspond with the mega drive.

This is a real nice set mate, must admit I'm even trmpted to replace my own MCD II MDII setup!

Be careful with your eBay listing though, when I was selling my modded MDII's they got pulled from eBay becuase of the Mod Chip.

Hi Steve, yeah i know about being careful with the wording.

When i've listed previous listings i've not mentioned any chips, just put pictures up with showing the different regions and advertised as region free.

Thats exactly what I had to do when I tried to sell a soft-modded XBox, they pulled my listing so I relisted and removed all references to the mod and just put up pictures :nuts:

Ebay removed my ad there was no mention of chips or any other modifications just pictures. I got an email saying there had been a complaint and my ad has been removed.

On that note, final drop to £55 plus p&p and if no interest by Sunday it'll go back in the cupboard.

Damn that's rude. Just hope it was no one on the forum here.

I must admit my willpower is seriously waning. TC is doing a similar mod to my Mega Drive 1, Mega CD 1 and 32x but its going to be over a month before I get to play with it when they send over the rest of the bits, and it's probably one of the things I am most eager to get my hands on. Maybe I can use it in the mean time and keep it as a backup...

I dont get this about Amibay, perfectly good stuff at great prices and it never sells, yet list it elsewhere and its gone in a day This is the audience that this kind of stuff sells to isnt it??:roll:

Bigger audience with a more prominent search facility, here you rely on your ad being seen and also being a smaller crowd a lot of us already have the said kit
