It is with regret that I offer this little beauty up.
I have replaced the keyboard with a new replica which looks and works exactly as the old one. The old keyboard is included also, for the sake of completeness.
I have also performed the composite mod, using the original RF adapter.
However, it is to be noted that even using a composite mod and SCART cable the signal output by the ZX81 can be difficult for modern TVs to handle.
By fiddling with the contrast and brightness, I could get a picture on my LCD. My Sony CRT could only pick it up in one SCART port. But the picture was strong and clear.
This also includes 3 games...
Zaraks, Eighty Niner, & QS Defenda Quiksilva
The box could optimistically be described as being "foxed", but "wolverined" is probably more accurate.
