Well needs must again for me so i'm selling off my external HD. However in that M&S nature, this isn't just some ordinary plug in USB drive. It is infact a networked drive meaning you can access it anywhere on your network regardless what machine you use or where you are. Infact if you want you can configure it so that you can access it via the internet anywhere in the world! Good ey?
As you can see it has 2 USB ports but they are 'inputs' for a printer or another enternal drive so you can access them so really this is more like a mini file server (of sorts).

Alas I dont really use it much and probably will benefit from a new home so it's up for grbs here first. :)

Heres what you get:


  • 1x Buffalo LinkStation
  • 1x Belkin crossover ethernet cable (it can use straight or crossover)
  • 1x Figure of 8 power cable.
Bad points well not alot other then I had to replace the drive once with an identical model since the old one overheated has a few marks on the rear from where I opened it. Oh and I cant find the disc and manuals but you can download them plus the updated software from the website. I can burn them onto a disc if is really required but do let me know if you want that.

Price: Since its just the unit and cables; £35 + P+P!

Please bare in mind overseas will be very expensive and due the the delicate nature of hard drives UK interest will have to take priority. Sorry. :(

P.s. Please forgive my messy nature at my workstation, MiniRolls are rather tasty but I often forget to bin the mess they create. :oops:

been looking for a network drive for a while, if only i had the cash. Sadly i won't for about a week.

TBH it's either this or eBay, I'd have to wait for it to end on there so I can wait a week so if you want it it's yours my friend. :)

This was delayed a little but payment was sent today.
