Hi all,

This may sound like a noob question but I have acquired a Zorro busboard and have no clue how to connect it to the a1200 main board in my tower!

Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks!

Hi

What type is it as the normally connect via the accelerator slot via an adaptor and risor

I know it’s probably easy but I’ve not got a clue about it

Hi,

Connect small PCB with two white "big" connectors (pass-through) on to main Micronik Busboard and this "sandwich pack" easy connect on A1200 CPU expansion connector.

Is that where you would put an acceleration card? If so how does it connect? Thanks!

It's like a pass through so you connect the adapter to the A1200 and then the accelerator and busboard to the adapter - There might be some photo's in my old tower project I will check

Thanks! That would be great. It would give me an idea. Sorry if this is a bit of a basic question

Hi, you'll need an adapter, it's similar to the old AT connectors, Zetr0 made a custom PSU for mine back when I had it.

Many thanks Steve. Any ideas if anyone still makes them? I’ve fitted everything now thanks to your help. Just need to get power now to the busboard.

I do have over 100 such white connectors left, unfortunately i have no time to build an adapter. Also do not own schematic (pinout for it)

That’s a pity you don’t have time, would you be willing to sell me a connector for it and I’ll see if someone could build me an adapter?

I'll check my spares box if I have any of these connectors

Sorry I only found P8 and P9 AT connectors which are 6 pin

Thanks for checking mate. They’re really hard to find.

Unless you cannibalise the 6's down to 2 4's?

Happy to send them to you, they still have the loom attached.

As i said, it looks similar to A1000 power connector, have tons of them, just need to find time, if You are not in the hurry - i will build You an adapter, otherwise You can get just a connector.
