can anyone with the correct hard are try this?

mike.

here is my entire collection (all Nuvie-videos I found on the internet) daddlertl.brianum.de/downloads*/C64_REU_Nuvies.rar (download only if you own a C64 with 1541 ultimate or chameleon64 cartridge, otherwise the download is useless)
How to watch a Nuvie on a C64 using a 1541 ultimate: put the latest firmware on the SD-card, enable the 16MB-REU, load a .reu file, start the nuvieplayer-v1.0.prg - the video should be played

Very real...
Also look for similar done with minimig in ham mode.

Check out 64 seconds a c64 demo streaming video off floppy, lower quality but this is for 64hdd and such
Oh and chaleon too... freaking awsome!

How can C64 handle Draw Distance that long as I found hard to believe that run on C64 Hard Ware!

these will be very lightly compressed frames. 64 aint rendering just a framebuffer.

64 seconds.
ran this off a 5 1/4 floppy, state of the art C64 bunny style!!!

this is playing frames on the c64 off of a HD, and audio track off cd...

It's really done on a c64 but slightly souped up with a (512MB) expansion and is only a playback of a movie ported from PC so it's not a game nonetheless but is still impressive considering the CPU speed it had. The software behind it was created by Crossbow of Crest and he also did a Dallas intro using the same technique. There is a real C64 running it on a video on youtube, you can look it up. But yeah the above is still a movie nonethelss not a playable game sadly

i imagine its streaming , as seen on the dallas intro and even the zxspectrum.

low bit rate video fed to the c64 , in much the same way as ham8 video on the Amiga.

no way is it playable(as a game). impossible on the hardware.
