Hi
Anyone professional outthere is able to tell me which one is the best in drive and tape emulation ?
do not matter the price difference please.
I need the best one to use with my C64 and I'd like the one working 100% with tape and floppy drive emulation perfectly.
thanks for your help in advance

regards

Alex

the ultimate is streets ahead.

faster , more compatible and more feature rich.

C62SD is an SD2IEC device

None of the devices is 100%, but the Ultimate II with the tape adapter is the winner for me.

I haven't used the other one. But I've got a 1541U-II + tape adaptor and think the unit is freakin' brilliant!

All of the latest demos which bash the 6510 processor in the 1541, work a treat. I have had a 1541II Ultimate for nearly three years now, and I do not think there has been one image has not loaded straight away, You can also load most cartridge images via the Ulitmate as well :)

This includes Easy Flash images but the save game function within some images has not been implemented as of yet.

In the time I have had the Ultimate I have not used my 1541 drive once on my 64 or 128 :)

I've never had anything not work with the 1541 Ultimate II, but it's still emulation of the processor in the 1541 so there's always a chance something won't work.
