The case design is complete!
The STL files will be available shortly through Heathers Thingiverse account as well as a free download through my store.
For those not interested in printing their own, I'm offering TWO different versions of the case.
The basic case (for which the STL files will be freely available), has an integrated foot attached to the bottom to prevent any torquing on the computers ports when using the device. This is a standard foot chosen as a good compromise between all possible machines.
The "Mark II" case is not available as a downloadable STL because it's designed to work with additional heatset hardware. The "Mark II" case omits the 3D printed foot in leu of a stainless steel thumbscrew adapted to the front of the case allowing the user to infinitely adjust the foot height depending on which machine you're connected to, and what you have under your computer (desk blotter... etc) that might affect the required foot height.
AND... for those who don't care for my 3D printed products, there's always Shapeways. I had to modify the model slightly so that it would be compatible with Shapeways print process. As such, the STL files you will be able to download aren't compatible with Shapeways as-is. That why I've put it up for those interested. The model can be purchased here:
https://www.shapeways.com/shops/corei64
Watch for the STL files to become available soon. My shop has a category dedicated to STL downloads, and plan on putting the files up later today. Will be sending the STL files to Heather later today as well, so she can upload them to Thingiverse. I'm sure she'll post the link when they're ready.
For those not interested in printing their own, both versions are now available for sale on my shop.
Here are some photos. Hope you like what I've created for Heather's project.

Here are various shots from around one case, and that plugged into various Commodores.

And to wrap up this post, here are some shots of the "Mark II" case:
