Hi.

Look, i have found this device in my junk. I remember i have acquired this about 15 years ago but can't remember what to do with this, except that it is for the Amiga.

Can you tell if i can burn Amiga ROM with this or maybe an adapter on top of this and if there is an Amiga software i could use?

Thanks in advance.

nah, this has a DIP28 socket so probably good for 27C128~512 eproms or something... assuming you can actually find the software it needs for operation
your best bet is to get the XGECU T48 programmer and the 16bit eprom adapter

Nice info.

"gets power from the joystick port
  • supplied with software for burning, reading, testing and editing the EPROMs"

Actually, it seems that this device would do for burning eproms for A590 or A2091. Might be useful one day, i remember i had a rev 6.6 A2091 which wrapped my 4 GB SCSI disk after the first GB because of ROM limiation.

Hi.

This time i have found this in my storage junk.

I also found an UV eraser and a bunch of EPROM with UV windows.

Seems more like it but i don't know how to do stuff with it. I only found an old email where i was complaining it didn't work with a USB to parallel cable.

Now i have restored a few months ago my old 2003 laptop running XP which has a real parallel port.

So if anyone can identify the device, please help me finding the software.

Judging by the adaptor board, it looks to be piggy-backed onto a Willem programmer ( pcb3.0--pcb5.0 )

There's a modern day version of the adaptor over on Aliexpress that looks very similar:

I think your best bet is to gently remove the adaptor board so you can see if there is any device markings on the main board then proceed from there.

According to the labels on the adapter, it supports 27C series, which also includes 27C400 which you can use for Amiga ROMs. It looks like one of the old Willem programmers or its clones.

Thanks, that seems to be a Willem programmer indeed and software is available.
