cant switch out of pal

both mouse buttons on the a1200 i bought arent taking me to the cmos
when i get to the wb screen, everything is out of sync of course
why isnt there a key command to boot into the cmos?
can someone help me?

it was the floppy drive; i had the cable in wrong, except, i still cant read the screen. i dont want to alter or modify my type. is there any other way to get in without having to purchase anything?

Once you're in the early boot up menu you can press the spacebar to switch between PAL and NTSC timings.
Keep in mind it's only the timings that are switched.
Video out through the composite and/or RF ports is still PAL colour-encoded, you must make hardware modifications to the motherboard to get NTSC out of it.

Stick to using the RGB port with a suitable Amiga monitor.
