Sorry to hi-jack, but you can order brand new ones directly from Paul Willingham. If you need an email I can give it to you.

You can watch a video of it here.

Does it work with a normal Amiga too? (dualshock joystick)
A swap is better
I think he is in Autralia right? I believe the shipping cost could be to much.

It works with normal Amigas too, there's no difference. CD32 has exactly the same joystick ports as a normal Amiga.

Australia? No, I think he's in UK.

Paul is in the UK, you are thinking of Nathan at Amiga Maniac (in Australia), who sells a very similar unit.

I found it. This is the Blittersoft version. Floppy disk is 100% too.

Talk to me via PM if you want to discuss. (y)

And why with a floppy disc?
Is this a driver? If yes than it´s only usable for WB Games?

The external floppy unit for CD32 is a normal drive and will work with any floppy you toss at it, will only boot from bootable ones, of course.

So you can use Workbench 3.1 disks with it, providing you have a mouse hooked in (a keyboard is also recommended).

I can't say for sure. I ran it from workbench to test it & that was my lot at the time. :

What rkauer said made sense to me. I'm working 12 hour days for the next three. I can road test it for you from sometime Monday onwards if you like?

Best for now.

Are the adapters from "Paul" lthe same?
I thought the adapter must be connected to the Joystick port.

Pauls adapters, and the adapters made by Nathan all plug directly into the 9 pin D sockets on all Amigas (joy and mouse ports).

They have a small integrated pcb with a controller chip that allows buttons to be remapped on the fly. So for instance, if you did not like X being fire, you can remap it to O etc.

They controller chip also allows mouse emulation via the analogue sticks on dual shock controllers.

Neither Pauls, nor Nathans adapters plug into the parallel port.

Hope this info helps.

I recently bought one from paul, they are not cheap, but are masterfull pieces of equipment,it doesn't only work on a CD32 but you can also emulate a mouse for amiga or the ST!

We are out of topic, but I think that's a fair price. For the money you give for an original CD32 controller (or more) you buy the adapter. :)
