Closed CDTV CD drive replacement

Wanted cdtv cd replacement for my cdtv which does not read properly disc's.

I need a CDTV or an A570 for spares to take the laser head to fix my CDTV.

I'm not sure but I believe the drive in the A570 is different from the drive in a CDTV

Yes but I believe this is also different from the laser found in the A570

Are you sure? They told that they are the same.

Has I said "I believe" they are different I'm not willing to dismantle my A570 to find out

I'm sure I've read it before but after a quick google around the internet I cant find any info only that the drives are physically different, would of thought this would have been mentioned before due to the amount of CDTV's with CD drive reading issue I have a CDTV myself which drive does not read
