Hi,

If you’ve got a CDTV with a bad laser, or a mech that is clicking or something, I’d like to have the mech, or more specifically, the control board under it. I have a board that I changed the caps on, and that didn’t fix my problem (Audio CDs work, data doesn’t).

I’ve part-swapped with a friend to confirm that the drive board is indeed the culprit, but I thought this would be easier rather than trying to source some of the chips on the board that could get expensive with shipping.

If you’ve got a dead CDTV mech you’re willing to part with, please talk to me.

Thanks!
