Hi all

Awaiting for me adaptor to turn up so though i would see iff the power flyer i got still works..

And yes it does yay..

Is there any benefit for me to having this on a desk top 1200?

Yes the standard Ide on a 1200 is about 1.2mbs and the powerflyer is about 4.5mbs up to 7mbs

Ahh i was only thinking of the generally small file sizes of the amiga...

Also i found 3 power towers in my basement sod all in them.....

Would it be worth sticking the 1200 in a tower...... not sure yet to be fair

Unless you are getting a mediator or a Zorro based addon board or more drives I don't really think you need to put in a tower. I have 1 with a mediator and various other stuuf but mine I had from new

Very true..... Will have to have a think about it to be fair used to have a tower but only had a cd rom in it and me 040......

Plus never too keen on the width of the power tower

Tested CF card and works great (Yes i know i am now willing to swap all the kit but i can still have a play)
