I am selling this laptop on behlaf of my father. He has now moved into the world of Toshiba laptops, and wants to move this one on.

Some basic specs on the laptop:

Amilo M1450G
2.00GHz Intel Centrino
1GB DDR RAM
120GB HDD
Wireless
4 x USB
1 x IEE1394 (Firewire)
Express Card Slot
DVD-Writer

Full specs here: http://pdfs.icecat.biz/pdf/579933-7916.pdf

Firstly let me tell you the laptop is not pretty - it has some cosmetic imperfections and has been well used, but electronically pretty well looked after (always used on a table, very clean inside).

Bad points:

1 - Both hinge covers are missing (not uncommon for this model)
2 - Some scuffs and scratches consistent with use to the plam rest and area above keyboard
3 - A number of scrathches to the lid, some of which have been touced in with mismatched silver paint
4 - There is a crack around one of the screws securing the left hinge. This results in the top section of the laptop flexing at the rear near where the Kensington lock slot is.
5 - Headphone/SPDIF plastic locating ring is missing.
6 - The bezel rubbbers are missing along with two screws from the screen bezel. The screen was replaced with a matt version and over time some bits of dust have somehow got trapped behined the screen. These can be seen on a white screen/ligh coloured picture.

The above makes it sound alot worse than the reality. This is a cracking machine, never let my Dad down and it was used daily for two years, mostly 12 hours a day!

The most important thing is this works as it should, and if you can put up with some minor cosmetic issues, you'll have a great laptop, either as a second machine, spare or one for the children to use.

The price for this fabulousness: £80 delivered to the UK, to include the charger.

Overseas postage quoted on request.

Payment is to be made by PayPal, either as gift or buyer adds 4.4% + 20p to cover fees. Cash on collection also possible.

Pictures will follow tomorrow, although if interested I am happy to take declerations pending review of pictures.
