Hi, long time lurker from the Netherlands. Started with the Commodore 64 in the early days (actually my first was a Sinclair ZX81), did some programming and hacking in assembly and purchased an Amiga 2000 by the end of the 80's. Added peripherals along the way - SCSI, bridgeboard and the like.
Mid 90's I purchased a BigBox Amiga 3000T - 2nd hand. Unfortunately I threw away the original A3000 packaging in my 1st relocation. Bad move in hindsight...
Lost interest around 2005 (kids, work) but still held both machines which were safely stored in the dry attic.
When I relocated again I started to use them for good old times. But you know...batteries. Thanks to my former education (electronics) I was able to resurrect both machines and added additional functionality (Newest Workbench, PiSCSI, New Harddisk etc.).
It's great to see both machines live again and play around..
Cheers,
Kees
