Hello!
I am an italian rusty (= old) Amiga user living in Austria. And yes, I miss the italian food
as well as the old good days with the Amiga
And now that the children are grown up, I discovered the community is still alive and kicking! So following my feeling I cleaned up a couple of A500s and an A2000 lying in my basement.
To my surprise 1x A500 is working fine (a part the "battery of death" in the RAM expansion :dry:_>" smilieid="189" class="inlineimg">_>" smilieid="189" class="inlineimg">) , while the elder with KS 1.2 probably needs new caps... as all it's showing is a black screen.
The A2000 has also gone through hard corrosion and is in the waiting list for some soldering works...
Hopefully with the help of the community (and the parts sold here) I will be able to revive the "old" ladies too.
Have a great retro-computing day to all!
