Hi all,
my first computer was a sinclair ZX81, which was sold as a kit.
I've got the circuit board, the resistors and all these little black centipedes and soldered them together to my first compter.
After that I got a commodore VC-20 (better known as VIC-20) in a nice white sports bag at christmas. Better keyboard, colors, sound and more memory. I've spent a lot of evenings on this machine.
During a visit in the US I've bought a NTSC SX-64. Great machine but heavy
.
The Intel PC gained more and more market share and my (now) old computers went deeper and deeper into the basement.
Meanwhile, I improved my electronic skills and developing software now.
Some years ago I came across my old boxes with this old computer stuff in it.
Why not fix them.. or buy some others, restore them... maybe fix them also
.
My collection includes mainly commodore machines VIC-20, C-64, SX-64, C64GS and Amiga 500/500+.
They deserve it to be kept running
!
