I just bought an delfina1200 and an prelude1200.

I have a catweasel and an xsurf. I also contemplate to buy a buddha flash and or a deneb.

Can I use these cards on the clock ports that these give a zorro amiga?

Re: Clock port sound cards on the amiga 4000

X-Surf and Deneb have two clockports, just install the boards in the proper way and configure the software to the right memory address and you are set.

Cannot the catweasel be used?

Re: Clock port sound cards on the amiga 4000

Does it have a clockport? If so, use it.

Re: Clock port sound cards on the amiga 4000

Reading about it, it seems like it has a 26 pin "local expansion port". The silver surfer is mentioned as a possibillity.

Re: Clock port sound cards on the amiga 4000

Its a special version of the silver surfer which is used with the catweasel. The 26 pin expansion port is a jens interface, not a clock port.

So only my x surf has i clock port

I think any (at least those individual made) with a clock port, should work.

Having read the problems of another unfortunate user here with delfina and Blizzard MkIV 030 I think I'll put my delfina on the x-surf, amd put the prelude in one of my a1200s. Perhaps even get a buddha from AmigaKit
