you can use ANY double sided SIMM in the Chip Ram 72pin port and it should work... at the moment I have an 8MB (double sided) common 8MB SIMM being used as 2MB Chip
its all about the memory matrix (arangement of X and Y cells not keanu reeves thingy)
Imagine a spreadsheet,
Some are organised in a WIDE Matrix i.e. more X rows than Y columns
Some are organised in a NARROW Matrix, i.,e. more Y columns than X rows
but most are organised in a SQUARE Matrix i.e. equal number of X/Y rows/columns
you need a 72pin simm that is a SQUARE Matrix , there common as to be honest.
I mounted 8MB simm and works... but encountered a problem: the first attempt the workbennch boots but freeze at the end... I reset by keyboard and the workbench boots and works fine... can you help me? :sigh:
