Hi Group,
About four months ago I bought a local Commodore Collection that had a ton of CMD stuff in it. One item that I put into my accessory bin was a CMD EX2+1 port expander. I now want to use it on my Commodore 64. Also, I downloaded the manual which , actually wasn't much help. It doesn't answer two questions. First, do I have to toggle all of those dip switches to the 'off' position when I'm not using say, port#2 and I'm using Port #1. That's what I'm trying now. Second, when I have my Final Cartridge III in Port#1, I can't get any of my game carts to run on Port#2, unless I set the I/O Configuration Jumper to 'DF' on Port #2. So, I guess what I'm asking is, am I doing this right?
Ultimately, I want my setup to be:
Port #1 - The Ultimate Cartridge III
Port #2 - a game cartridge
Port #3 - REU or my Warp Speed cart
Thanks in advance...
