Question: are these bags made from acid free plastic? A low electric charge and suitable for long-term storage? Are they manufactured from uncoated, chemically inert polyethylene, for example? (It says PE-Flachbeutel, so probably the are polyethylene based, yet they could still be coated, etc.)

It would be wise to learn whether or not these bags are suitable for archival purposes, otherwise they might affect the paper of the boxes.

No idea, I've been using them for over 8 years. This is all my stuff you can see. I have not seen any deterioration, and far outweigh being left naked on the shelves. If you don't think they suit your needs, don't buy. I had them made for my own use and I am selling off the excess ones.
