Up for sale is an early model "silver label" Commodore 64 computer. Being a silver label, it has an early revision motherboard from 1982 that is missing the chroma+luma output; the video DIN has 5 pins only. The VIC-II chip is a 6567R5 and the serial number is S00036590.
I have tested the following items as "good" by running various games from an SD2IEC drive:
KeyboardVideo/audio via the DIN jackJoystick portsCartridge portIEC portSound and graphicsBASICThe SID sounds good to my ear
The case is in excellent, clean condition with some minor yellowing on the back and a shiny spot on the bottom where I removed a sticker. The silver label is in good shape with a small white spot (see pictures). The keyboard is not too yellowed, but could use a good cleaning.
This item includes the computer ONLY! No power supply, video cable, manual, box, or anything else.
I don't see these very often, so I'm not sure how much this is worth, so I'll start with $200 + shipping in the US. If that's too much, let me know!
Thanks for looking!
