US Seller. Asking $800 USD + shipping + any PP fees

Condition:

  • Newly recapped PAL Amiga Rev 1D4 A1200
  • The standard "timing fixes" were applied for accelerator card compatibility. RF module was removed
  • A TF1230 full 68030 Accelerator @ 50 MHz with 64 MB RAM with ehide IDE port
  • Original A1200 Mouse
  • New Amiga power supply – Mean Well PT 65B in a 3D printed case with North American plug
  • The OS 3.0 installation disks (6) and the original 3.0 ROMs installed on the motherboard are included.
  • Keyboard membrane is new

Video Output options:
  • 23-pin Amiga Video-to-VGA adapter with VLR (vertical Line Remover) makes it ready to connect to a 15 kHz monitor – all screen shots were done connected to a Dell U2410 monitor (not included).

Storage:
  • 4 GB CF card
  • Working 3.5" Amiga Floppy drive
  • 64 MB CF card
  • Software:
    • System software on the Main partition
    • 6-disk AmigaOS 3.0 set with original 3.0 KS ROMs
    • Addmem from Aminet is used to show the available RAM, but is not included, per Amibay rules. KS/OS’s higher than 3.0 will show the RAM without the use of an additional program, and a one line statement to the startup-sequence. See AlenPPC’s Website - https://alen.dreamhosters.com/terriblefire/tf1230-info-and-installation-tips/ - [64MB version: C:Addmem 08000000 to 0C000000]

    • Shipping:
      Total weight of box - 16 Lbs. Size of Box - 24 x 16 x 7 inches
    • Shipping costs per location as decided by carrier and location; I do not gouge on shipping, but I obtain insurance for postal carrier “issues.”
  • The buyer has the option of upgrading to OS3.2.2.1 with an original, unopened, unregistered AmigaOS3.2 and burned 3.2.2 Amiga ROMs (47.111) for an additional $50 USD
Please feel free to contact me before or after purchase, I will try to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
This is a refurbished A1200 from 30 years ago; it has been restored to work, but may have flaws, blemishes, DIY 3D parts and other non-original items. These computers are no longer in production and parts may be impossible to locate at reasonable prices, hence, it is sold “as is.”
Absolutely every part was neither photographed nor tested ad nauseam to guarantee either absolute authenticity, nor continued function into the next decade, but should function with proper handling and care for the time being.
Please do not purchase if you do not understand this, and that my 4K photos uploaded to this site may be reduced in quality by the hosting server and/or shown at lower resolutions, blurred or with flaws not visible on your monitor. Your monitor resolution and quality are not my fault.
This A1200 was bought in England, and imported to the USA. The keyboard membrane has been replaced, with the PSU constructed of a newly 3D printed case made with Printed Solid’s Jesse's “A500” PLA to match the Amiga beige of the era, and a Mean Well AC-to-DC power converter. The power connector, if not an original, was obtained from Jeff Brit in the States.
The 23-pin Amiga to VGA VLR adapter was constructed from a PCB from Pcbway; the new capacitors are from Mouser and I use Chris Edwards method of replacement; the CF card-to-PCMCIA adapter was bought last year from China. The 64 MB CF card is a SanDisk from Amazon.
