Hello all!
I've here a very nice Amiga 600 HD for sale. The main unit only.
As you can see in the pictures it is in good aesthetic condition. The case is intact in every part with minor yellowing, mostly on the two sides and on the back.
No rust on the rear ports and the keyboard, German QWERTZ layout, is clean and white. The floppy disk drive read every disk I did try.
The hard disk size should be about 50 MB and still works however before shipping the computer I'll have to format it since WB 2.05 is installed but I don't have the original media.
The computer passed all tests I did perform with Amigatestkit and to check it thoroughly I played many hours with a lot of games. I had no freezes, crashes, video glitches, etc.. however, even if the audio is sharp and clear the sound is "weird". I'm pretty sure that it is due to some capacitors that need to be replaced. This computer has never been opened (and I rather to leave it this way) so I couldn't check the condition of capacitors but It is normal that some of them are no longer performing at 100%. From my experience, now, after about 35 years, it is almost impossible to find a perfectly functioning not recapped yet A600. Keep in mind, therefore, that the computer is sold as is, without any warranty.
I'll add to the computer a not working 1 MB Chip RAM expansion as well. Unfortunately it had a battery that leaked some acid. I did remove the battery but the expansion RAM is damaged and with it you get either a red screen or other errors. Maybe the new owner will be able to fix it.
