Hello,
I want to sale some Commodore / Archos PCMCIA Overdrive PCMCIA unit for A600/A1200
It's coming boxed in their original OVP box some with the manual some don't some have the original floppy some don't Anyway I will supply a copy disk of the driver to any buyer.
The power alimentation is taken from the External Floppy connector of the A600/A1200.
It have a built in IDE interface and a maximum rate transfert from the PCMCIA of 2Mbits/sec
The better way to use this stuff is to buy a cheap 40pins IDE to compact flash adaptator linked to the internal IDE port of the Overdrive and use a 4GB compact falsh!
This will be noise less, more reliable the old IDE HD and less power consuming.
There is two version of this overdrive one with IDE 40 pin 3"1/2 IDE HD drive and the other with 44 pins IDE 2"1/2 HD IDE Drive. I have to open it to see witch IDE connector type is present but I'm pretty sure at 99% that all are IDE 40 pin.
More info their => http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/overdrivehd
Picture will come soon. Have several units for sale don't know exactly the number by I will check this afternoon.
It's a retro geek stuff but this is a very usefull thing to install a fresh Work bench or pre-installed Workbench ( like Amikit,Classic Workbench, etc). It's will be an easy solution and more Amiga stylish than used a PCMCIA Compact Flash adapater because this device is autobooting and automounting (by the Kickstart ROM)!
The device is refurbished but is in mint condidition.
Asking 30€ per units + Paypal gift option (or you will need to pay the fee) + Shipping cost
I will only accept Paypal payment no IBAN money transfert.
One units per member please!
