I'm downsizing and selling my Commodore PC30-III. I sourced it years ago from someone who had it in a closet since the '90s - it's in excellent condition, very clean, no dust or smell (non-smoking home).
Cosmetically it has a few scuffs here and there - the finish on the case is actually an adhesive and it's getting a bit undone on the sides, but it's probably not difficult to fix this with double-sided tape.
When I acquired it the RTC module was obviously dead so I had someone professionally desolder it and install a socket in place, I then put in a more recent Dallas RTC (2016 date code).
Specs are as follows:
Commodore PC40-III motherboard (PC30-III and PC40-III share the same motherboard, the only difference being the PC40-III having added onboard VGA).
286 CPU @ 12Mhz (software switchable between 12, 8 and 6Mhz)
1Mb RAM
WD93028A 20Mb IDE Hard Disk Drive - it sometimes won't start if it hasn't been used for a while, the fix is to turn the rod for the stepper motor to help free it.
Matsushita JA-551-017 360k
Chinon FB-357 720k
Paradise EGA card
I haven't tested the FDDs for a while so I can't confirm they both work, however the 3.5" was definitely working when I got the machine as I managed to do a fresh install of DOS 6.22 with it. Both drives seek-test during POST.
For sale 120 euros excluding shipping fees. (Will ship to EU only.) Payment by Paypal friends and family preferred.
Please note it's a heavy machine so the postage might be expensive.
Edit: item received by Andry, feedback exchanged
