Hi all,

I'm new here and I'll say right away I know virtually nothing about vintage computers. However I'm hoping someone here may be able to help.

My grandfather passed away a few years ago, and I was lucky enough to receive his Commodore PET (see photo) along with a bunch of manuals, master disks, etc. I've never actually switched it on, and the keyboard is a bit bashed in. I'd love to get it running again.

To that end, are there any people or business in the UK (I'm in Cheshire but can drop it off) who would be able to take a look at it and repair such a machine?

Thank you.

Mike.

Hi, I have the same model. Plug it in and run it. You won't break anything. If it is damaged it simply will not run. It won't get any worse than that. Once you run it, post some photos.
Connect the disk drive and the :directory and return entries
Then I will write you what happens next
Regards, Tadek
