Folks,

I acquired a working SX64 and for some reason the previous owner had harvested the machine for a few parts.
Specifically the IEC inlet socket, Fuse holder and power switch. All of which I could replace but unfortunately they also took the bracket that mounts all these too.

I'd love to get hold of the entire assembly but would also be happy with just the small steel bracket. My metalworking skills are just not up to manufacturing one.

Thanks

Thanks for the offer - I actually have another four SX64's so can base the design off one of those - Its a peculiar shaped bracket with a bend in it - certainly beyond my fabrication skills in steel/aluminium.

I wonder if a 3D printed copy would work -if only I knew someone with one of those 3D scanners and a 3d Printer too !

4! :)

i posted somewhere here about a great 3d printing service 3dhubs when making an Atari sd thingy. Really good value, some of their guys design as well. The guy nearby me says he designs, I mentioned him ( hopefully easy to find that thread.

nothing on thingiverse?

Thanks - I think if went commercial with this requirement for a scan/print it would probably cost me more than an SX64 is actually worth.
