Time for another interesting one - Here we have a Compaq 386 Portable Computer Circa 1987

It comes in good clean condition and appears to an untutored person (me) to be working as it should. It does not include boot disk as I had to borrow one from another system to test with, but it uses MSDOS 3.3 which you can get your hands on easily enough. Kettle style power cable included.

There is some wear to the keyboard to base unit cable as can be seen in photos. Basically the sheath has become brittle with age and has cracked away in one place. Not really to serious.

I was hoping for £35 plus postage for this but am prepared to listen to "reasonable offers" as long as it's not half a packet of Rolos and some pocket fluff. I think I have stayed with the rules here but Mods please let me know if I have misinterpreted anything regarding making offers.

Best postage price I can find to Greece is £38.

Even by todays standards that's expensive but in 1987 hell yeah, that's some serious $$$

Just a fraction cheaper today

Hell I wish it were still worth the above - I'd be booking my holiday in Jamaica
