(Not actually from Tokyo).
In the process of freeing up some space by selling off a few of my machines that don't get used enough.
Here I have an old DOS gaming machine I had been toying with a while. Bought locally and in a sorry (but working) state. I did the best I could to straighten out the case though still dented and chipped in places, it is alot better than it was! The original floppy drive was totally written off and in its place was the best I could make do with, a 1.44MB facialess drive with a flap and a button that just fits the cutout though a slightly different shape to the oval button previous. Disks now atleast read and write no problem and can be inserted/ejected as easy as before.
The front and rear plastics of the case are not bad, a hairline crack to the front top edge and at some point a previous owner has shaved away at the plastic under the CD-ROM drive. No idea why but you barely notice it really.
One last thing (to nitpick), there are two screws missing that secure the HD mounting place to the PSU chassis. Since it barely moves, it's held in the other side by a hook and slot and the metal case hold it in securely enough, I never bothered to find screws that fit.
Here's the specs anyway:
• Intel i486 DX2 @ 66MHz.
• 3x ISA slots, 1x IDE header, 1x floppy header (with 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 connections).
• 4 slots populated with 2 x Mb of 72pin SIMM RAM (Will clarify tomorrow).
• SoundBlaster compatible soundcard.
• Tseng Labs ET4000 onboard video (1Mb?).
• 1.44 Internal 3.5" floppy drive.
• CD-ROM drive (no idea of the speed).
Asking £35 + postage (pretty heavy so overseas is not going to be cheap!).
Thanks for looking.
