Comes with:
- 2x Infineon 128MB PC800-45 ECC RIMM
- 2x C-RIMM 'dummy'
- original ATX backplate
- Compaq 375W PSU
- huge PC speaker (wired to onboard AC'97 audio, so does more than just beep)
- non-original Asus C-P2T Slot terminator for second CPU slot
- note that CPU used to boot for pics is NOT included.
One the few i840 boards so one of the fastest P3 motherboards out there. Couple of idiosyncrasies though:
- requires a non-standard PSU. It's included, but it is higher than normal ATX so might be a challenge to fit into a case.
- the CPU slots are unusually closely spaced. No problem with single CPU, but a second CPU requires a very thin heatsink.
- to run a second CPU a VRM module is needed (not included). Fortunately this is standard - any VRM complying with Intel VRM 8.4 spec will do.
- gives a 1611 fan failure detected error at boot if (proprietary).Compaq system board fan (158275-001, not included) isn't present. Pressing F1 ignores this and allows you to continue booting.
Great board, only reason I'm selling is that I was able to get hold of a complete AP550 workstation (here on Amibay) so this board is surplus to requirements.
