Motorola MC68EC060RC - Brand new genuine NOS

As you well know this EC version lacks FPU and MMU.




I performed many test with the following configuration:

Amiga 4000D with Cyberstorm MK II
Amikit OS
68060 LIbrary V46.15 (newest versions seems to not work, at least with CS MK2)

I tested some CPU at 66 MHz too with success.
I tried many games and Scumm VM. System is very fast and stable.

I was NOT able to test speed with Sysinfo and AIBB (they crash).
This seems to be a common issue with EC/LC CPUs.

All other software I tested run fine without issues.

All diags software reports MMU present. I don't know if this is an error or CPU really are LC version.
However, serigraphy reports EC.

I'll test every CPU before ship. Test will be performed at nominal speed of 50 MHz.

Is the CPU Amiga compatible? I think it has no FPU installed?

Hi Rick, yes, CPU are Amiga compatible.

As I already wrote, I'll test them all before ship and yes, EC version lacks FPU and MMU.

Small update.

CPU are expected to arrive on wednesday, september 9.
In the same date I'll start to test them and I'll immediately mail to all users that declared interest (and I'll answer to the PMs I received).
I WILL NOT consider PMs sent without declaring interest in the post (or I'll consider them only if more CPU will be available after the end of line).
