Slightly off topic, but I wanted to say that I have one of these cards and they are very very nice. You will be very pleased with the card Kin.

^^^^^^

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. I've always been a Creative sound card fan & since upgrading to Win7 64Bit Ultimate, I had to retire the SB Audigy2 Platinum & resort to RealshiteTec on board sound. It's chugging my i7 rig & I ain't happy.

To be fair, I must say a public thank you to o0Nosferatu0o for this opportunity.

Cheers fella.

Why retire it? Audigy and even Live! are fully supported in Win7 64 bit.

Their Game Ports are not. I also had horrible interference from the Mobo. On top of that, I had better FPS in games with the on board sound than I did with the Audigy2, even though this High Definition RealTec crap maxes out on 20 sounds.

@ o0Nosferatu0o

Payment is made. See PM.

Ahh i see, yeah it is annoying they no longer support the joyport but there is a hacked driver out there for it.
I'm still using audigy 2 zs as i use the front panel LiveDrive2 a lot.

The X-Fi Fatality Pro does support a front break-out box like the Audigy series did. Another neat thing that the X-Fi does is support front panel mic and headphone jacks, either AC-97 or HDA. That is actually a really handy thing for me as I just plug in my mixer in the front , and set up the mics for recording the podcast show and be on our way. I think the reason that the Gameport isn't supported anymore has to do with the fact that someone is trying to force USB as the standard for joysticks now, because no sound card with one that I know of has support in windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit.

I was very surprised to receive this today. All installed & works like a charm.

Feedback left.
