Due to purchasing an upgrade system 9on here) I am selling my current setup:

1. Phase5 Cyberstorm PPC (CSPPC)
If you're looking at this, chances are you know what it is but here's the details anyway:
  • 604e PPC CPU at 233MHz (66MHz bus clock as shipped from P5)
  • 68060 (rev1) at 50MHz (as shipped by P5)
  • 128MB 60ns 72pin SIMMs
  • UWSCSI Interface (up to 40MB/s)
  • Local expansion slot (50MHz) with PCI firmware (for GREX)
Item is in great condition and been well taken care of (fans, heatsinks etc.) but there is a modification:
  1. Jumper moved to enable 68060 to be clocked separately from system
  2. Third oscillator added for 68060
This simple mod enables you to fit a 68060 CPU from 50-75MHz (maybe higher depending on RAM speed.)

As listed above, I am asking $2000 shipped in the US, $2050 shipped to most of Europe (payment by PayPal F&F or Bank Transfer, eg WISE)

2. Phase5 Cybervision Graphics Card (CVPPC)
The 'fast' slot graphics add-on companion to the CSPPC:

  • Cable connecting to external slot adapter for VGA
  • Permedia2 2D/3D accelerator
  • 32MB VRAM
  • HEATSINKS! ;) (No, these are not necessary unless you overclock)
As listed above, I am asking $500 shipped in the US, $525 shipped to most of Europe (payment by PayPal F&F or Bank Transfer, eg WISE)

$2300 FOR BOTH US SHIP , $2350 FOR BOTH EU SHIP ( Ask elsewhere.)

More photos to come but I wanted to capture some live shots before teardown:

A word about overclocking:

1. Overclocking the 68060 with a new osc, is easy and very stable, so long as heatsink and fan are added. Note: Later masks run cooler than the rev1
2. Overclocking the CVPPC is relatively easy and stable but you *must* install heatsinks and a fan. The bus can be overlocked (via osc. swap) and the VRAM can be overclocked (as a hint the ENVironment variable is IINSTALLEDAFANONMYPERMEDIA2 :D )
3. Overclocking the PPC is easy, via a crystal swap, but I don't recommend it as they run super bloody hot already

I'm collecting system library versions, you'll note this config is running 3.9 - it's exactly how I ran my system around 2000, but I have verified copying the libraries over to 3.2 also works.
